David and Elizabeth had 5 children: Samuel, Sophia, Christina, Charles, Elisabeth.

David Saylor (aka. Seiler) emigrated from Germany and settled near Hecktown in Lower Nazareth Twp., Northampton Co., PA. David died intestate. The administrators of his estate were his widow, Elizabeth Saylor, and Jacob Heller. In 1814 a petition was filed in Northampton County orphans court by George Weiss, husband of Elizabeth, "late widow and relict of David Saylor", requesting partition of David's land in Lower Nazareth Twp. The petition stated that David Saylor left a widow named Elizabeth, and four children; Samuel, Sophia, Christiana, and Charles, all in their minority. Guardians were appointed for the four minor children. After his death, David Saylor's widow, Elizabeth Saylor, remarried George Weiss, and had four more children; Thomas Weiss born in 1818 and baptized 10 May 1818 at St. Peter's Church, Plainfield Twp., Reuben Weiss, John Jacob Weiss born 4 Mar 1820 and baptized 3 April 1820 at St. Peter's Church, and William Weiss.
