Albert Busch, 67, a life resident of the Lost Nation community, was found dead in bed at his home in Lost Nation Saturday morning by his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Petersen, who lived with him. Mr. Busch had been in failing health for some time.

The body is in the Hargrace funeral home where prayer services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with additional services at 2 p.m. in Bethlehem Lutheran church. The Rev. R.F. Groenwold will officiate. Burial will be in the Lost Nation cemetery.

Mr. Busch was born Jan. 5, 1883 in Smithtown, Ia., and was married to Dora Burrichter of Smithtown, Nov. 22, 1906. The couple farmed near Lost Nation until 1944, when they moved to Lost Nation.

Surviving are two sons, George of Clinton, and Vernie, Lost Nation; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Marten of Wheatland and Mrs. Petersen of Lost Nation; nine grandchildren; three brothers, William of Lakeview, Ia., John of Baldwin, and a sister, Mrs. Albert Luckow, Lost Nation.

Mr. Busch was a memer of Bethlehem Lutheran church, and was formerly on the school board of Washington school near Lost Nation.
