"Johnstown Daily Tribune," Johnstown, PA- Tuesday, January 21, 1890:
Funerals To-day and To-morrow.
The funeral of Mrs. Ann Benson, of Minersville, will take place to-morrow fore-noon at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made at Benshoff's.
------------------
Widow of Samuel Staples Benson (d-1855) who built the Somerset County, PA Courthouse. It is unknown where he is buried. His farm was most likely located along the present-day Dalton Run Road in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, PA according to family members. He is either in an unmarked grave in that area, or in an unmarked grave in the nearby Potter Cemetery in Millcreek, Upper Yoder Township, Cambria County, PA, which is just across the county line not far from his farm. But again, this is all speculation.
