Dr. Rivera graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 1956. He was an intern at Wayne County General Hospital, Eloise, Michigan, 1956-57; resident in radiology, VA Hospital, Bronx, New York, 1964-67. He was certified in radiology (1968) and nuclear medicine (1973), and practiced in both these fields in New York and New Jersey.
