Andres Valdez, age 78, beloved brother, was called to his eternal home by the Lord our Savior, Tuesday, July 18, 2006, while surrounded by his loving family. He was a lifetime resident of Pena Blanca, NM where he was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Andres enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He was proud to share with his family that he worked for La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, NM. Andres is survived by his brother and sisters, Joe Valdez and wife, Mathilda, Lisaida Ortiz, Esther Lujan and husband, Armando, Betty Dominguez and husband, Rudy, and Rose Sena and husband, Fred; numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Odyssey Hospice Group, Enchanted Hill Health Care, for the special care given to Andres; Fr. Wayne, Fr. Cecil, and Brother Rick for all their spiritual support. Visitations will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow at Pena Blanca Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Henry Ortiz, Henry Dominguez, Joe Roybal, Joe Valdez Jr., Antonio Dominguez, and Gary Sena.
