Clarence Rohlinger, 57, Town of Ashford farmer, died at his home Sunday at 2 pm, following an extended illness.
Clarence was born Sept 2, 1901 at Lomira, the son of the late Mathias and Katerine Braun Rohlinger. On June 12, 1928, he married to Cecile Foy at St Mary's Church, Eden and the couple spent their married life in the Town of Ashford. He was a member of Holy Name Society of St. Matthew Church.
Mr Rohlinger is survived by his widow; two sons, Eugene R, & Daniel at home; six daughters, Mrs John Karoses and Mrs Sylvester Bassil, village; Mrs Lee Carpenter, Missoula, Mont.; and Therese, Rose and Joann, at home; nine grandchildren; a brother Leo of Kewaskum; six sisters, Mrs John Dutscheck, West Allis,; Mrs Adolph Neumeyer, Mayville; Mrs Lee Brown, Harford; Mrs Joseph Moser and Mrs Edward Wenzlaff, West Bend and Mrs Frank Stoffel, village. He was preceded in death by twin daughters.
Services held at Twohig Funeral Home, Rev Peter Schwamb officated at the church service, burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Vernon & Jerome Neumeyer, John Dutscheck, Franklin Brown, Ralph Stoffel, and Gregory Rohlinger.
