Paralie Lanham Ball, daughter of Joe and Mary Lanham, was born April 20, 1875, and died Dec. 11, 1938, age 63 years, 7 months and 2 days. She was united in marriage to T.W. Ball, April 20, 1902, and to this union was born six children, all whom survive here.
She professed faith in christ at the age of 18 and lived a Christian life until death.
She leaves to mourn, a husband, six children as following: Mrs. Elizabeth Campbell, Miss Virginia Ball, Mrs. Walter Kuhlman, and Charles, Thomas and Hubert Ball; three grandchildren, one brother, C.E. Lanham, one sister, Mrs. G.R. Sulfridge and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the home, Monday at 1:00 p.m. by the Rev Joe Whitaker, with burial in the Campbell Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Smith Ball, Fred Lanham, Frank Lanham, Roy Whitaker and Roy Hurst.
Honorary pallbearers were: Tom Ball, Robert Overton, W.M. Gibson, Jim Riley, Lon Jennings and Harvey Cunningham.
