Grand-Father for my niece's husband Michael. They have lots of fond memories with Dominic. He was well known in the community. Below is the obituary from the News Herald:

Dominic Olivo, 79, of Wickliffe, passed away at home on August 2, 2015. He was born in Cleveland on December 7,1935 and was a longtime resident of Wickliffe.
Dominic served as a Business Agent and rose to Business Manager. He was in the union over 50 years. He always strived to improve the quality of life for its members, their families, and the local communities. Dominic was instrumental in establishing the Matthew J. Deluca, Dominic Olivo Scholarship Fund for high school and college students. Dominic was both loved and respected by the members of Local 860. He was equally respected by the contractors and other unions, a task which often came with many challenges. Families throughout Northeast Ohio are better off today as a result of Dominic's hard work in the years he served with his Local 860 family.
Dominic was also a dedicated member of the Wickliffe Italian-American Club. He was a 40 year veteran of the club and acted as the Courts Crew Chief, member of the Scholarship Committee, Vice President, and active member of the board. Dominic took pride in his involvement in helping build and engineer the club's last five bocce courts. He also led the maintenance of all the bocce courts for over 19 years. He enjoyed the club's many events, the Cleveland Challenge of Bocce Tournament being his favorite.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Elsie (Fratena); daughters, Lillian (Tony) Venesky, Terry (Marty) Murphy, and Donna Olivo (Jim Nagy); grandchildren, Mallory and Jamie Murphy, Michael (Lindsey) and Leah Venesky; sister, Nancy Negrelli Fazio (Mario, deceased); brothers, Jerry deceased (Dolores) and Tom (Jean). Dominic also had another "extended family", the sisters and brothers of the Laborers Local 860.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Tom and Lillie
Olivo.
Friends and family may call Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, 2 to 4 p.m and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Burial at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Twp.
