SOUTHBURY — Anne Mueller, 93, died peacefully Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. She was the widow of G. Ernest Mueller.

Anne was born December 6, 1921 in Poland, the daughter of Michael and Katherine Hryckowian, and immigrated to the United States at an early age. She then became a naturalized citizen. She attended schools in the New York area, including Hunter College, then went to work for American Cyanamid Company in New York City. She also worked as the secretary of St. Gabriel’s High School in New Rochelle, N.Y.

Anne was an active parishioner at Sacred Heart Church in Southbury and a member of the Southbury Garden Club.

Her family will miss her loving smile and beautiful embrace. She was very active in the community and will be missed by many.

She leaves her four children, Robert (Delores) of Oakridge, N.J., William of Southbury, Kathryn Parris of St. Cloud, Fla., and Wayne (Kathy) of Mamaroneck, N.Y.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 8, at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St. South, Southbury. Burial will follow in new North Cemetery, Woodbury. Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the church. Arrangements are by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd., Southington 06489-1058.
