Mrs. A. Lester Orner
Mrs. Marion Orner, 61, wife of A. Lester Orner, Mill Hall, RD, died at the Lock Haven Hospital November 4, 1959.
Mrs. Orner was a lifelong resident of Laurel Run in Bald Eagle Township. A daughter of John and Isabel Winner Williams, she married Mr. Orner in 1916, and they farmed all their married life. She served as pianist for the Laurel Run Methodist Church for many years until ill health forced her resignation.
She was survived by her husband, three sons and five daughters: Alfred L. Turtle Creek; Eugene S., Santa Rosa, CA; Kent L. Miami, FL; Mrs. Charles Thomas, Mill Hall RD; Mrs. J.L. Laubscher and Mrs. William Brooks, Both of Miami; Mrs. Percy Laubscher Jr., Lock Haven, RD; and Mrs. James Albright, Mill Hall RD. A sister, Mrs. Helen Arney, of Centre Hall; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survived.
Services were held at the McCloskey Funeral Home, Mill Hall, with the Reverend Thomas Parkyn officiating.
Interment was in the Sunnyside Cemetery.
