Funeral services were held in Terry Wednesday, February 22, for Frederick Adam, a long-time resident of Terry. In ill health the past two years, Mr Adam, 75, died at Miles City Holy Rosary hospital Saturday, February 18. Interment was made in the family lot at Prairie County Cemetery.
Fred Adam was born February 12, 1903, in Stutzman County ND, a son of Jacob and Christina Adam. He attended Mechanic school at Fargo. He was married to Emma Rau on February 1, 1925, at Gackle ND, were the family resided until 1929 when they moved to Terry. Mr Adam was employed as a house mover and heavy equipment operator in the Terry area for many years.
Survivors include the widow; five brothers, Jacob in SD, Edwin in ND, Milburt and Henry, both in CA,and Albert of Butte ; and a sister, Mrs Bertha Remmich.
