The death certificate and the 1900 and 1910 Federal Censuses say Andrew was born in Arkansas, but it seems more likely that he was born in Ohio as the 1860, 1870, and 1880 Federal Censuses say.

Andrew is not listed in the McBrides' cemetery book, 1972 edition, so there may be no remaining legible headstone.

Various sources list his middle initial as A, B, or J.
