Cleedith Beals Baker, 87, of Yuma, formerly of the Gila Valley, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 in Yuma. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Pima to Richard and Mary Beals.

Cleedith graduated from Pima High School and then graduated from Beauty School in Phoenix. She received awards and ribbons for Crocheting projects at the Graham County Fair. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved cooking, dancing, crocheting, and listening to country music. Being a mother and grandmother was her greatest passion; taking care of everyone around her, she considered everyone family. She worked several jobs and was best known as “Mom” to everyone while working at Chester's Chuckwagon in Yuma.

She is survived by her children, Donald K. Baker, Cathy (Matt) Nelson, Connie Shaw, and Ricka (Randy) Farkas; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald W. Baker; siblings, Grace, Marvel, Elizabeth, Verona, Ercel, Maude, Richalene, Kenneth, Bonnie, and Bobbie.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at the Pima LDS Church on Hwy 70 in Pima. Viewing begins one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Pima Cemetery
