--Miss Emma Bearss and Oscar Muhlfeld were united in marriage at 8:30 o'clock last night at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Bearss. There were more than 200 guests, many of them from other cities. The Rev. Harry Nyce, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Muhlfeld left last night for Tampa, Fla., where they will reside.

--Mrs. Emma Bearss Muhlfeld, 83, of 500 Highview Road, died today at her home.
--Mrs. Muhlfeld was born in Peru, Ind. She had lived at the Highview Road address the past 35 years. She was the wife of the late George Oscar Muhlfeld, who had been president of Stone and Webster, Inc. of New York City.
--Surviving are a son Frank Bearss Muhlfeld of Englewood; a sister Miss Lucy Bearss of Peru, Ind.; and five grandchildren.
--Services will be conducted at Mrs. Muhlfeld's home at 2 P.M. Saturday.
--Interment will be in Peru, Ind.
