It is believed that Charlie died sometime between June 27, 1880 and June 1, 1900. He was alive during the 1880 U.S. Federal Census but is not listed in the 1900 U.S. Federal Census. According to the 1900 Census, his mother Alice is the mother of 9 children but only 7 of these children are living.

The marker for his brother Raymond may also serve as a marker for Charlie and Perry since it reads "Children of FB & AG Vanornam".

A special thank you to Glenn Fleming #47274065 for going the extra mile to help me with photos and information regarding the Van Ornam children's burials.
