Ann Currier, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at Kline Hospice House of Mt. Airy, Md. Ann was a graduate of Cedar Crest College, class of '52 and an avid needleworker, cook, and gardener. Over her life she enjoyed music, playing and teaching piano, and singing in the choirs of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Birdsboro, Pa., St . Paul's, Concord, N.H., and Grace Episcopal, Keswick, Va. She also loved musicals, and sang and performed in Gilbert and Sullivan productions with the Canterbury Players in Canterbury, N.H.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Wendy Smith Baughman of Atlanta, Ga.; son, Robert Morgan Smith, Jr. of Plymouth, N.H.; son, James Ferguson Currier of Frederick, Md.; son, Frank T. Currier Jr. of Penacook, N.H.; and daughter, Patricia Bickford Proulx of Loudon, N.H. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brandon Currier, Daniel Bickford, Alicia Currier, Rachel Smith Ainsley, Tyler Bickford, Derek Smith, Dustin Currier, Morgan Baughman, Margaret Currier, and Emily Currier, as well as five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Transfiguration, 6909 Maryland Ave., Frederick, Md. at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015. A graveside service will be held at Birdsboro Cemetery, 1018 East Main St., Birdsboro, Pa. at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015.In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hospice of Frederick County or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America http://www.alzfdn.org/ContributetoAFA/makeadonation.html.Arrangements are by Stauffer Funeral Home of Frederick and Stauffer Crematory, Inc.
