Arthur Eads, Farmer Dies
Service for Lifelong Resident of Clyde Township Saturday
Arthur W. Eads, 77, Clyde township farmer and a resident of Whiteside county all his life, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday at his home north of Morrison.
The body was removed to the Reynolds funeral home where friends may call. Services will be held at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. J. Hagerty officiating. Burial will be in the Albany cemetery.
He was born Jan. 28, 1878 at his present home in Clyde township, the son of William and Sarah Eads. He was reared and educated in that community and was married Jan. 6, 1902 at Clinton to Jesse May Graham. She preceded him in death March 1, 1955.
Mr. Eads is survived by five sons, Herschel of Fulton, Harold of Cherry Valley, Orlie of Mendota, James and Victor of Morrison; one daughter, Mrs. Richard ( Dorothy) Merema of Morrison; 14 grandchildren, one great grandchild.
Besides his wife, Mr. Eads was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Velma and one in infancy; seven brothers, William Edgar, Henry A., Charles W., Alonson, George W., Albert T., and Jehiel Eads.
