Sarah was born in Ascot, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, May 20, 1838, to Jehiel Washington and Sarah "Sally" Scott.
Sarah married, William Eads, December 22, 1854, in Sterling, Whiteside, IL. Children born to this union, eight sons, William Edgar, Henry Alonzo, Charles Wesley, Alanson Cass, George Washington, Albert Theodore, Jehile W., and Arthur Wyman Eads.four of whom survive to mourne her; Henry and Arthur of Albany, Charles W. of Unionville, and Albert at home.
Her husband died February 13, 1907. One brother and three sisters also survive her, George Cass of Cottonwood, Mrs. Razena Twombly of Morrison, Mrs. Mary Daniels of Cottonwood, and Mrs. Stella Tosher of Portland, Ore.
The funeral services will be held at the house at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon and at two o'clock at the Brick church in Ustick. Rev. John Nice officiating. Burial will be made in the Mennonite cemetery adjoining the church.

SARAH EADS 2nd Obit - Octogenerian dies in Morrison
Mrs. Sarah Eads passed away at her home north of the city Friday evening, aged nearly 88 years,the date of her birth being May 20, 1828. Her illness was of short duration, and rest from a long life journey came quietly as the shades of evening. Mrs. Eads was one of the early residents of this vicinity, her husband, William Eads, having preceded her in death many years ago. The greater part of her life, which has been one of quiet ministry to kindred and friends, has been spent in the old home, from which will be missed a good mother and a faithful friend and neighbor.
She leaves of her own kindred, four sons, Henry and Arthur Eads of Albany, Charles of Unionville, and Albert in the home. Also one brother, George Cass of this vicinity, and three sisters, Mrs. Stella Tozier of Portland, Ore., Mrs. Mary Daniels of Cottonwood and Mrs. Rosina Twombley of this city.
The funeral services will be held at the house at one o'clock Tuesday afternoon and at two o'clock at the Brick church in Ustick. Rev. John Nice officiating. Burial will be made in the Mennonite cemetery adjoining the church.
