Funeral Held for Joseph M. Barry
Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. today for Joseph Marcy Barry, 88, of Beaumont, Tex., who died at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hotel Dieu in Beaumont. He was a native of Grand Coteau.
Services were held at St. Pius X Catholic Church after which the body was brought to Grand Coteau for burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church cemetery. Brief graveside rites were held.
Lafond and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Barry is survived by four sons and three daugthers, three brothers and four sisters. One of the brothers is R. J. Barry of Opelousas.
