Anna T. Nickerosn
Casper - Services for Anna T. Nickerson, 89, of Casper will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at Bustard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Nickerson died Oct. 4, 1991, at the Poplar Living Center following a short illness. She was born Jan. 17, 1902, at Moorhead, Minn., the daughter of William and Eleanor (Lamphere) Titus. She lived in Moorhead until the age of 13 when the family moved to Long Beach, Calif. She later returned to Moorhead and attended College in Fargo, N.D. She earned a master's degree from the University of Southern California.
On Aug. 12, 1926, she married Chauncey Nickerson at Long Beach. Following their marriage, they lived in southern California until moving to Washington, D.C., in 1936. Two years later they returned to California. In 1942, they came to Wyoming, where she had made her home in Casper and Midwest since.
Mrs. Nickerson was a member of the Fort Casper Chapter No. 4, Order of Eastern Star, the Daughters of the Nile, and the American Association of University Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jan. 26, 1973, and an infant daughter. Survivors include one son of Casper; one daughter of Miles City, Mont.; one sister, Eleanor Randall, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Either flowers or memorials to the Casper Humane Society would be equally appreciated by the family. Memorials may be left at Bustard Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
