Charles Howard, age 83, of Franklin, died Thursday May 22, 2014 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Perry County, KY on June 2, 1930 to William and Ellen (Napier) Howard. Charles formerly worked for Wonder Bread as a Baker in Dayton.

Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ruth Sammons Howard, four Sons, Tim (Lisa) Howard, Tom (Rita) Howard, Dave (Jenny) Howard, and Bill (Crystal Vaughn) Howard; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers, Dorse Howard and Jerry Howard; three sisters, Brenda Allen, Linda Melton, Christine Eggleston, and a special nephew, Dylan Patrick.
