Funeral services for John McDermott, 73, retired hotel man and former Wyoming sheriff who died Sunday at his home 1917 North Kingsley Drive were held today at the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Interment was in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mr. McDermott was born In Ireland and came to this country when a child. He resided in this city 19 years. He is survived by his widow, two sons John W. McDermott scenario writer and Edward K. McDermott film editor at Warner Brothers and two daughters Miss Mary McDermott and Mrs. Ann Lowney.
