Mr. Caldwell, a retired commercial painter passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at Morehouse General Hospital.
D.C. enjoyed fishing, flower gardening and working in his yard.
Mr. Caldwell is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Lorene Caldwell; son, Dennis Clifton Caldwell; and brothers, Jimmy and Jesse Caldwell.
He is survived by: His wife, Phyllis Musgrove Caldwell; three daughters, Rushina Shook of Dayton, Nev., Fara Caldwell and Gayla Caldwell, both of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Larry Caldwell of San Francisco, Jolly Caldwell of Dustin, OK and Glen Caldwell of Oregon.; sister, Lana McDaniel of Mer Rouge; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Toe Musgrove, Juan Musgrove, Scott Lenard, Danny McDaniel, Steven M. Rushing and Ricky Hutson. Honorary pallbearers are Terrance Musgrove and Chris Musgrove.
