DEANA MANKIN
Deana Mankin, 82, Clifford, died December 23, 1986, at the Bartholomew County Hospital emergency room. She had been in failing health several years.
Born July 1. 1904. in Brown County, she was the daughter of Harrison and Anna Painter Wright. She was the widow of James Mankin. who died in 1968.
Survivors include two sons. William E. Mankin, Clifford, and Ashford Mankin, Columbus; a half brother, Fred Baxter, and a half sister, Lottie Swinehart. both of Clifford; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service was held Saturday at the Garland Brook Cemetery by Rev. Calvin Vass. The Norman Funeral Home in Hope was in charge of arrangements.
