Services for A. D. Richard, who died in a local hospital following a brief illness, will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. L. D. Bell officiating and interment in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Garrison.
Mr. Richard was born in Lufkin and lived here all of his life. He was a graduate of Lufkin Dunbar High School and was a member of the New Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors: wife, Marie; sister, Mrs. Linda Stubblefield; brother, Robert Richard; son, John Michael McElwee; daughter, Deborah Ann McElwee.
