Carl Rogers, 70, husband of Judy Rogers, passed away Wednesday, September 2 at Stanton Nursing Center, Stanton. He was born September 16, 1944 in Winchester to the late Simp and Iva Rogers. He was a retired farm worker. Survivors include, wife, Judy Rogers, Clay City; sons, Ben Snowden, Austin Strange, and Derrick Strange; grandchildren, Leah Hope Snowden, Ethan Cole Snowden, and Makayla Jones; brother, Paul Rogers, South Carolina; sisters, Helen Bates, Clay City, Eunice Starr, Lexington, and Linda Snowden, Clay City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Simp and Iva Rogers, sisters, Cathern Phillips and Ruby Bryant; and brother, James Rogers. Services Friday, September 4, 11:00AM Davis & Davis Funeral Home, Stanton by Rev. Warren Rogers. Visitation Thursday 6-9pm at the funeral home. Burial in Kennon Cemetery with Rick Tyra, Tom Ringl, Jared Kennon, Tim Hall, Lonnie Kennon, and Dave Tingle serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers serving, Tracy Snowden, Garland Brewer, Shelby Abney, Jimmy Tackett, John Kennon, and Garland Hall.
