Charles G. Lindstrum, 62 years of age, faithful employee for many years of the Farmers Grain & Lumber company of Sycamore, died suddenly of heart trouble yesterday, Monday, afternoon while delivering coal at the home of Mrs. Clara Spencer, 422 Grant street.

Charles G. Lindstrum was born Sept. 16, 1868, at Smoland, Sweden, and came with his parents to Sycamore when 14 years, of age. He has always made his home in this vicinity.

He was married in 1896 to Amanda Gronberg, who survives, in addition to one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Viola) Bedford of Charter Grove, and a sister, Mrs. John Nelson, residing north of Sycamore.

Before being employed by the Farmers Grain & Lumber company he was engaged in farming. He was a member of the Modern Woodman and of the Salem Lutheran church of Sycamore. He was reliable, industrious and a good citizen.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the home on Roosevelt Court and at 2:30 o'clock at the Salem Lutheran church, Rev. G. P. Williams, officiating. The burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.
