Final tribute to the exemplary life of Mrs. Charles G. Lindstrum, who died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph hospital in Elgin, was accorded Monday at 2 p.m. at the E. E. Johnson chapel in Sycamore and at 2:30 o'clock at the Salem Lutheran church. The Rev. R. A. Lundquist officiated and burial was in Elmwood cemetery.

Amanda Gronberg, the daughter of Charles A. and Ida Bodeen Gronberg, natives of Sweden, was born May 31, 1872 at Naperville. At an early age she moved to DeKalb county. She became the bride of Charles G. Lindstrum November 11, 1896 at Geneva. Mr. Lindstrum died December 29, 1930. The family home was on Roosevelt court. Mrs. Lindstrom had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Bedford of rural Genoa for some time. She was taken suddenly ill a week ago and pneumonia developed. The duration of her final illness was three days.

Mrs. Lindstrum was active in the work of the Salem Lutheran church. She was a member of the Royal Neighbor society. Mrs. Lindstrum was a lovable woman, kindly disposed and tolerant, and her sudden passing comes as a shock to her family and friends. Her gentle presence will be sadly missed in the daughter's home, where she has resided since giving up her home on Roosevelt court in this city.

Surviving the decedent are the daughter, Mrs. Viola Bedford of Genoa and two sisters, Mrs. John H. Johnson and Mrs. Fred Sibley, both of Sycamore. One daughter, Mrs. Harry Astling, preceded her mother in death ten years ago. Two grandchildren in Genoa, also mourn Mrs. Lindstrum's loss.
