Widow of George W. Key, she was the daughter of the late James Edwin and Florence Milam Pickett.
Mrs. Key, a Winthrop College graduate, was a retired private art instructor as well as an art teacher in public schools. She was a charter and life member of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
Among her civic interests were memberships in the Clarice Wilson Garden Club, the Greenville Art Museum, the Greenville Artist Association, South Carolina Artist Guild, the Greenville Women's Club, and the National Flower Judges Club. She was an illustrator of several books on flowers.
Surviving is a son, William Edwin Key of Greenville.
Mrs. Key was predeceased by a daughter, Martha Florence Key.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. today, January 4, 2001, at the home of Les McCraw, 100 Chapman Place, Greenville.
