He was born on 30 September 1717 according to his christening records kept by Saint Barnabas Church, Queen Anne's Parish. His parents were Mareen Duvall, Sr. (Son of Mareen "The Elder" Duvall and Frances Stockett.) and Sarah (Unknown last name).

Good Memorial, I am also a Lewis descendant, we spoke a while back:
Benjamin Duvall was age 59 at the census of St. John and Prince Georges (Rock Creek) Parishes, taken in 1776. His wife Anne was aged 45, and his household had the following: Mareen Duvall, age 12, Anne Duvall age 10, Rosey Galihan age 17; and Mary Bonifant age 12. No Slaves.

In 1778 he subscribed to the Oath of Allegiance in Prince Georges Co, MD before Magistrate Thomas Clagett. He removed to Virginia, before the close of the Revolution and settled in Bedford Co, where he and his sons Mareen and Benjamin Skinner, appear in the 1783 tax list. In 1786, his plantations fell in to the newly organized county of Franklin Co, VA.

page 108, has bio of BENJAMIN DUVALL (4), 1717-1792. States he married Anne Griffith, born ca 1731, daughter of Samuel Griffith, of Calvert Co, and she was sister of Benjamin Griffith.
His will was drawn up in 1786, but not probated until Freb 1792 in Franklin Co, VA. His son Lewis Duvall, received 5 shillings, son Mareen Duvall got the land where he lived and was appointed executor.This bio cites Sources:

He owned several properties at St. George's County, Maryland as well as Bedford and Franklin county, Virginia. He also served in the Maryland militia during the French and Indian Wars.

His descendants span the globe and includes Lewis Duvall of Campbell County, Virginia; Elisha Duvall of Crittenden County, Kentucky; John Duvall of Massac County, Illinois; Harvey Duvall of Massac County, Illinois; George Allen Duvall of Pemiscot County, Missouri; Harvey Agbert Duvall of Pemiscot County, Missouri; Marshall Oliver Duvall of Tunica County, Mississippi and, my mother, Olivia Irene Spears Duvall Concon of Quezon City, Manila, Republic of the Philippines.

He is also a proven patriot for both the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and Sons of the American Revolution (SAR).
