Mary L. Sand, age 59, of 11409 Wedge Dr., Two Rivers, entered into eternal life Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, of Green Bay. Mary was born July 30, 1954 in Two Rivers to the late Raymond and Luella Rollins Sand and has been a lifelong area resident. She was employed as an assembler for the Holiday House, of Manitowoc for many years. Last year she was awarded a certificate for the longest time employee at Holiday House. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and loved her cat "Blue".

She is survived by one brother: James and Linda Sand, who were her care-givers and to whom she made her home, of Two Rivers, two sisters: Judith DeLaurelle, of Green Bay, Nancy and Melvin Stangel, of Cooperstown, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews, special friends and care-givers: Debra Smith, and Tracey Tyler, both of Two Rivers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant sister, and a brother-in-law; Gary DeLaurelle.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 So. State St., Mishicot with the Reverend John Becker officiating, with entombment to follow in the Knollwood Mausoleum, Hwy. 310 Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.

Mary's family would like to express a very special thank you to the entire staff of both the Aurora Medical Center, of Two Rivers, and the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, of Green Bay for the wonderful care they extended to Mary during her illness. Your kindness will alway be remembered and appreciated.
