Injuries Result Fatally: Charles D. Torrey, lineman for the Nebraska Telephone company, who sustained very serious injuries about three weeks ago in falling from a box car while assisting in the unloading of a car of telephone poles, as the result of which he was partially paralyzed, as well as sustaining very severe injuries to his spine, pass away at the General hospital, (Grand Island) yesterday morning. Mr. Torrey, who was a young man about 31 years of age, is survived by a young widow who was with him constantly during his illness, and who, together with her father from South Omaha, accompanied the remains to South Omaha on No. 16 yesterday, where interment will be made.
