FV "Theban" (GY-737) fishing
Husband of Mrs. Brough, of 18, Durban Rd., Grimsby.
Born at Lambeth, London. Died aged 45 years.

Jan Lettens 15/12/2013:
" On November 8th, 1919, the British steel trawler THEBAN, left Grimsby, and went missing. She was not heard of ever since. Her owner, Thomas Robinson, reported that Grimsby ship PHOEBE, on Nov 14th, while trawling 65 miles from the Humber, heard a violent explosion nearby. On approaching, PHOEBE found wreckage of a trawler.
This may have been the THEBAN. In any case, all 10 hands were lost."
