Mrs. Karen Rassmussen died at three o'clock Sunday morning, March 2nd at the home of her son Chris, in Beloit, after a nine weeks' illness. Deceased was 65 years of age.
Mrs. Rassmussen was born in Denmark in 1847, and came to America soon after the death of her husband in 1897, making her home in Mineral Point until 1903, when she moved to Beloit. She is survived by two daughters and three sons; one son, Peter, lives in Mineral Point.
