Virginia Arberry age 72 left this earthly life at Saint Anthony Hospital in Rockford, Il on April 27, 2012 following an extended illness. She was born on August 7, 1940 in Freeport, Il to the late Howard and Allean (Bennerman) Warden. Virginia was united in marriage to Lenzy Arberry on November 30, 1984 in El Doraldo Arkansas. Virginia attended schools in Kewanee, Il. She was a member of The New Second Baptist Church where she served as the 'œChurch Mother'. Virginia loved to fish, go to garage sales, play cards, board games, and bingo. She also loved and cared for many children and the elderly. Virginia worked at the Sojourn Home, King Seeley Thermos, and the nursing home for many years. Virginia is survived by her husband Lenzy Arberry; one son 'œCorky' Warden; one sister Paula Smallwood of Freeport; a very special foster daughter Judy Richards of Freeport; and also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Funeral services for Virginia will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at The New Second Baptist Church in Freeport. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be held at Freeport City Cemetery.
