Albert was born in Salem, Ky., the son of Henry and Charlotte Belcher Snyder. He was a retired Wabash railroad blacksmith. His first marriage was to Ella Cole in Shobonier Oct. 24, 1897; she died Nov. 28, 1950. In Aug. 1954, he married Mrs. Dell Finley in Olney; she died Oct. 25, 1959.
Surviving are his daughters, Jewell Abraham and Marily Landacre, both of Decatur; brothers, Thomas and Luke, both of Vernon, Il.; a sister, Mrs. Bert Linthicum of Sidell, IL. Five sisters, a brother, a son and a daughter preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Farmers cemetery, Shobonier.
