He married Helen Croope, his wife of 55 years on May 31, 1958 in Raton, NM and to this union was born four children.
He was a diesel mechanic by trade and worked for Viola Brothers Lumber, Park County and Konke equipment during his working years. Al loved to hunt and fish and did so every opportunity that came along. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family.
He is survived by his wife Helen; children; Aloysious (Mindy) Kessler, Jr., Michael (Jeannie) Kessler and Gerald (Robin) Kessler; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded by his parents and son Martin Kessler.
Visitation will be held at 9:00am with a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at the Harwood Funeral Home, 225 E. Main Street, Florence, Colorado. Interment to follow at Union Highland Cemetery, Florence, Colorado. 09)
