Ruth Reddy, age 99 of Breckenridge, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 1st at Necessity Cemetery with Dr. Genoa Goad officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Willie Ruth Anderson was born August 30, 1916 in Caddo Mills, Texas to J.B. Anderson and Willie Swaim Anderson. She married Charley Bryan Reddy. Ruth attended business college and later worked in medical records. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Breckenridge. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Willie Anderson; her husband, C.B. Reddy; her son, James R. Boaz; one brother, Andy Anderson, and two sisters, Rosemary Cox Skidmore and Marge McDonald.
Mrs. Reddy is survived by three granddaughters, Carole Elder and husband Clay, Stephanie Singleton and husband Neil, Stacey Donaldson and husband Eric; one sister, Elaine Huckabee; six great grandchildren, Cassie Elder Wimberley, Caleb Elder, Haley Donaldson Kenzie Donaldson, Austin Singleton, Tanner Singleton; four great-great grandchildren, Cooper and Claire Wimberley, Caegen and Cohen Elder, and numerous nieces and nephews.
