Ron Lee Aldrich, 58, of Camp Hill, PA, and formerly of Canton, IL and St. Petersburg, FL, died peacefully at home and with his loving wife by his side on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was born in Canton, IL, on Saturday, June 19, 1954, son of Peggy (Chasteen) Aldrich who survives him and the late Neil Ronald Aldrich. Ron was the husband of Janet L. (Hofreiter) Aldrich who he married on June 27, 1981 and who survives him.

Ron's survivors also include his son, Ron Aldrich and his wife Lara and their children Alliyah, Ava, Elliana and Caleb all of Florida; his brother, Rod Aldrich of Illinois; his nephew, Ryan Aldrich of Michigan; his uncle, several aunts, many cousins and several nieces and nephews by marriage.

Ron graduated from Canton Senior High School as part of the Class of 1973. For 17 years Ron worked for Hennessy Construction in St. Petersburg, Florida. He loved NASCAR, working on cars and fishing. In his younger years, Ron was very active in Motorcross, having won numerous races and awards. In the last several years, Ron greatly enjoyed spending time with his wife, Janet, and their trips to area restaurants. His local favorite was the Texas Roadhouse and he always enjoyed Sam Seltzer's Steakhouse in Florida.

All are welcome to join Ron's family at his visitation on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 10:00 until time of services at 11:00 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1420 West Moss Avenue, Peoria, IL 61606, (309)673-8501, with Reverend Dr. Robert Bordeen officiating. Ron's family invites everyone to join them for at time of food and fellowship at the Church's Parish House immediately following the service. Interment will follow the reception in Lancaster Cemetery in Glasford, IL. Cremation was private.

The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, 2 Lemoyne Drive, Suite #101, Lemoyne, PA 17043.
