Alice was born to William Henry and Joanna Maude (Highsmith) Tincher on Sept. 1, 1924, in Crawford County, Ill.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Joy Kail and her husband, Marcus, of Freelandville, Randy Joe Lewsader of Lawrenceville, Ill., Ruth Utley of Stroud, Okla., and Tony Beard and his wife, Susan, of Herrin, Ill. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Lyle Hayes Jr.; two daughters, Alice Marie Seaney and Rosemary Lewsader; five brothers, Herman, Joe, Walter, Roscoe, and Eugene Tincher; and one sister, Laura Wait.
A graveside service conducted at the Hardinsville Cemetery in Hardinsville, Ill., with Rev. Ron Fellows officiating.
Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., handled the arrangements.
