While his wife's name is still unknown he did father Rachel in about 1725 in Springfield, Union County, Royal Colony of New Jersey. Stephen Bedford III was born about 1721 in Elizabethtown, Essex Colony, Royal Colony of New Jersey. Their children included Andrew, Stephen, Phebe (Swart), Jonathan, Daniel, Cornelius, Jonas, Levin and John. Jim Bedford
