Graveside service for Catherine Davis Hyatt, 87, will be Friday, November 26, at 11 a.m. in Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Ivan Fuller officiating.
Mrs. Hyatt died November 24 at Citizens BMC. She was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega and was a member of Talladega Creek Baptist Church where she attended the Joy Sunday School Class. She had worked at Bemiston Bag Company, Wehadkee and Bockmon Upbridge. After retirement, she spent her time raising her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin A. (Pete) Hyatt; her parents, Edgar and Mae Davis; and grandson, Huey Davis.
She is survived by three daughters, a son, two sisters, 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct the service.
