" SS Montebello, built by ....... was a British steamer of 4324 tons.
On June 21st, 1918, Montebello, on a voyage from London to Hampton Roads,
was sunk by the German submarine U-100 (Degenhart von Loë), 320 miles W1/2N
from Ushant (Ouessant). 41 persons were lost."
