Obituary: Sever Johnson, aged 73 years, died at Ashland., Wis., on June 25th of cerebral hemorrhage. The body was brought to this city. Monday evening and on Tuesday afternoon funeral services were conducted at the residence of Mrs. Magdalene Hellem by Rev. E. O. Vik. A E Smith had charge. Interment was made in the Onalaska cemetery. The pallbearers were Hans Hanson, John Skogen, Nels Larson, Ole Wold. Math Olson and John Gilbertson. Deceased lived in Onalaska many years ago. One son, Julius, and one daughter, Miss Olga, both of St. Paul, were here for the funeral.
Syver's sibling Otto Jensen lived in Lowell, MASS with his wife Laura E Barnes until his death in 1932. Brother, Johon Martinus Jensen immigrated to Cranfill Gap, Bosque, TX and married Antonette Johannesdatter. Johon died in 1936.
