Funeral services for Arthur, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Sutherland, of 172 Beardsley street, who died at the Bridgeport hospital Monday, after two days’ illness of meningitis, were held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon. Rev. M. Stuyvesant officiated. Arthur was a graduate of Lincoln Grammar school. Six of his school friends, Carl Gainer, Wesley Stowe, Harry Smith, Carl Smith, Robert Baird and Arnold Herrin, served as pallbearers. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery.
