She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean R. Brazier, her stepfather, Wilbur George Brazier, and her father, James H. Feltman (Oct 1905 NJ - Jan 1984 VA).
Their son, Jerry, was born with special needs and he became the focus of both Carol's and Bill's lives. They both devoted themselves to helping other children who were similarly situated and Carol continued these efforts after Bill passed on. Carol was universally loved, a very caring and giving person who was always willing to devote her time, energy and expertise to a good cause.
She was very active in the First Church of Christ Scientist, serving on its board for many years, and was also active in numerous organizations that supported children with disabilities, many of which she and Bill helped found. These included the Gloucester County Association for Retarded Citizens, the Mercer County ARC, the New Jersey ARC, the Abilities Center of Southern New Jersey in Westville, the ARC's Camp Sun and Fun in Williamstown (for which they were instrumental in securing an Olympic-sized pool, including handicap accessible facilities) and the New Jersey Mental Retardation Planning Board (which later became the New Jersey Development Disabilities Council). She and Bill were also active in the United Way in Gloucester County and Bill was prominent in local and state Boy Scout circles.
Carol owned and operated her own real estate agency, the Campbell Agency in Pitman, NJ, for many years and was a very successful businesswoman. She was a talented vocalist, singing at many weddings, funerals and for years as a soloist at her church. She was also an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and could be found glued to her television or radio whenever the Phillies were playing. She never missed a game.
