Obituary
Mrs. Elinor Katheryn (Bartlett) Slade, 73 of Russell Street, Plymouth, and former longtime resident of Manomet Bluffs, died at University Hospital in Boston on Aug. 29, after a long illness. A graduate of Plymouth High School, class of 1930, Mrs. Slade worked in the records department at the M & M Sporting Goods Store.
She was born in Plymouth on May 5, 1912, the daughter of the late Amasa H. and Maizie (Stewart) Bartlett. She was a volunteer at the Jordan Hospital. Mrs. Slade's husband, Hans Slade, died in 1975.
She is survived by a son of St. Carlos, Calif.; a daughter of Plymouth, two sisters Mrs. Ruth Raymond of Maine and Mrs. Dora Anderson of Plymouth.
Graveside services were held last Saturday in Manomet Cemetery with the Rev. Gary L. Marks of the Church of the Pilgrimage, Congregational, officiating.
