SERVICES FOR RUSSELL
Funeral services for Clara Russell, who died at her home near Union District, Wednesday, will be held from the residence, one mile north of the Union School house, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
Burial will be made in the Union Cemetery.
Mrs. Russell is survived by three daughters and three sons.

Clara was the daughter of Jonathan & Lela Olive (Greer) Shields. She was probably born in Blount County, Tennessee where her parents were married May 20, 1866. The 1900 Barry County, MO census gives her birth as April 1869. She was a granddaughter of Andrew V. & Catharine (Gregory) Greer and Frederick "Fed" & Mary Polly (Oliver) Shields. Clara moved with her parents and Greer grandparents to Missouri in the early 1870s. She married Henry Russell (1849-1915) in Sept 1882 in Barry County, MO. Henry & Clara had the following children: Effie; Phoebe; Elmer; Andrew; Nettie; Bessie & Brittain Russell.
