Henry Russell was born March 25, 1849, at Maryville, Tenn., and died September 10, 1915, in the Union District, north of Galena. In the month of September 1882 he was married to Miss Clara Shield(s). To this union were born eight children, three boys and five girls. One daughter having died in infancy. The funeral services were held from his home in Union District Sunday September 12, at 2:30 p.m. and interment was in Union cemetery. S.S. Hageman officiating.
