Age 73, died Saturday, May 18, 1991 after an extended illness. Mr. Wilkinson was an agent for State Farm Insurance Company in East Lansing, retiring in 1980 after 24 years of service. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Charlotte. Surviving are sons, Raymond (Patty Ann) Wilkinson of Williamston, Ronald (Hazel) Hamilton, Clyde (Janet) Hamilton, Kenneth (Carol) Hamilton, all of Charlotte, Russell (Susan) Hamilton of Dimondale and Gary (Lisa) Hamilton of Olivet; daughters, Laura (Mrs. Don) Taylor and Edna (Mrs. John) Symmes, both of Charlotte and Carolyn (Mrs. Victor) Trumble of Vermontville; 34 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joy, in 1970 and second wife, Laura, in 1989.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 20, 1991 at the First Lutheran Church, Charlotte, with Pastor Paul Moldenhauer officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to First Lutheran Church. The family will receive visitors Sunday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte.
